For years, I’ve wanted to create a regular newsletter to help educate and inspire my community about all aspects of buying, selling, and maintaining a home. This is the very first edition — and I hope you find it both helpful and encouraging.
One of my favorite parts of real estate is meeting and helping all of you. My work goes beyond assisting clients with a purchase or sale; it’s about offering ideas and resources that build long-term comfort, value, and enjoyment in your home.
When preparing to sell, one of the biggest hurdles people face is decluttering — sorting through a lifetime of belongings. I completely understand! When I moved after 14 years in one home, I discovered boxes, clothes, and files I hadn’t touched in years. Going through everything — from my children’s artwork to my parents’ keepsakes — was both physically and emotionally exhausting.
Getting support makes a huge difference. Whether it’s a trusted friend to help you get started, a professional organizer, or even just a quick call with me for encouragement, remember: you’re not alone in this. And while decluttering can feel daunting, it can also be surprisingly freeing and energizing.
Start small — one room, one closet, or even one box at a time. If you’re just beginning this process and need a little motivation, please reach out. I’m happy to share local resources or simply check in for accountability. Doing this gradually makes future moves easier — and your home more enjoyable right now.
